| The closing date for entries was 28th February 2010. A draw was held during March to determine final places for this year’s race. Those teams who miss out will have their entry fees returned as soon as possible. The resulting race field is posted on this site
The theme for 2010 is ‘Occupations’
Some 120 teams entered for the 90 maximum places for the 2010 Bed Race, so a public draw was necessary, which was held on 3rd March 2010. Reserved places were granted to Bed Race sponsors, 2009 category winners and junior teams. Seeding was awarded to teams who have entered consistently for several years.
The maximum number of 90 teams is all that can be accommodated by the available at the start of the Parade and the Race. |
