KNARESBOROUGH MEN'S FORUM

Since its formation on October 27th 1970 over 750 talks have been given to retired and semi-retired men meeting on Tuesday mornings from October until April in the Assembly Rooms at Knaresborough House.

The Forum is non-political/non-sectarian and has a membership of over 100. There is no annual subscription but a weekly levy, at present £1.20, to cover coffee, hire of room and speaker's expenses.

A printed program is issued to all members in late September and subsequent joiners will receive one at the door. Many talks are accompanied by slides on diverse subjects.

Time is allotted at the beginning of each session for members to chat to one another.

Any retired or semi-retired man can turn up on Tuesday morning at 10-15 am from October to April and be enrolled as a member.

For further details the Secretary is Mr. T. Davison Telephone (01423) 866183
