Knaresborough Online is currently undergoing a complete revamp to provide an improved service to users and commercial clients. During the revamp the current website will remain largely unchanged, to be replaced by the new-look Knaresborough Online when the process is complete, which we expect to be early summer 2008.
The new website will have enhanced benefits in particular for commercial clients. Currently Knaresborough Online is very well indexed by search engines such as Google, which means that web pages, including commercial listings, are prominent, usually on the first page, for relevant searches. The new website is expected to achieve first-page results from relevant Google searches for any of the commercial categories. The number of commercial categories will increase greatly and we will also be able to supply statistics on visitor numbers.
Commercial listings will take on a much more contemporary look and will be expanded to include:
- Up to around 200 words of descriptive text, not including contact details
- Up to 5 images including a banner style header image
- Inclusion in up to 5 commercial categories
Until the new website is in place applications for new listings have been suspended. However, we offer all businesses in the Knaresborough area a FREE basic listing of address, telephone number and a few words about your business in a single category - to apply email enquiries@knaresborough.co.uk
