Knaresborough is an historic Market Town probably best known for
its Bed Race (in June) and its breathtaking view over the Nidd
Gorge. It is 3 miles from the Spa Town of Harrogate with its
conference centre, 20 minutes from York and Leeds and 30 mins from
the Yorkshire Dales.
For Racing enthusiasts, Wetherby, Thirsk, Ripon and York are all
near by and Catterick, Doncaster and Sedgefield are not so far away!
For the Golfers there is one
course in Knaresborough, four in Harrogate, one in Ripon and
numerous courses in Leeds and York all within easy reach of
